18 July 2018 – Mandela Day is a global call to action that celebrates the idea that each individual has the power to transform the world, the ability to make an impact. The Mandela Day campaign message is:
“Nelson Mandela has fought for social justice for 67 years. We’re asking you to start with 67 minutes.”
Nelson Mandela’s birthday is on 18 July, and the call is out for people everywhere to celebrate his birthday by acting on the idea that each person has the power to change the world.
By devoting 67 minutes of their time – one minute for every year of Mandela’s public service – people can make a small gesture of solidarity with humanity and a step towards a global movement for good.
We invite all Mossel Bay Eden District businesses to gift your 67 minute to the Z. J. Hulpsentrum.
- ZJ. Hulpsentrum, Mossel Bay, a non-profitable training centre for kids with special needs. Please aid us with the gift of your labour and time to make improvements in and around our school. Ensuring that our kid’s potential shall grow.
For more information regarding the projects on hand, on the 18th, contact Zettie Jonker, 082 775 7635.
By donating your staff and labour, of 67 minute, on the 18th, you are improving our kids’ lives.
